Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
Pebble Notepad is a notes app for Mac and iPhone. This policy explains what data the app handles and what happens to it. The short version: your notes are yours, we collect nothing unless you create a sync account, and we never sell or share your data.
Without an account
Pebble Notepad works fully offline. Notes, drawings and settings are stored only on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere. The iPhone widget reads a copy of your notes stored on your device, shared only between the app and its widget.
With a sync account
If you create an account to sync between devices, we store:
- Your email address (and, if you sign in with Apple or Google, the identity those services share with us) — used solely to operate your account: sign-in, email confirmation and password reset.
- Your notes — titles, text, tables, drawings and their styles — so they can appear on your other devices.
This data is stored with our hosting provider, Supabase, and protected so that only your signed-in account can read or write it. Data is encrypted in transit. We do not read your notes, and no human looks at them except if strictly required to investigate abuse or as required by law.
What we don't do
- No ads, no trackers, no analytics SDKs.
- No selling, renting or sharing of personal data with third parties.
- No reading of your notes for any product or marketing purpose.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account). This permanently removes your account and every synced note from our servers. Notes on your devices remain on those devices. Notes you delete in the app sit in Recently Deleted for 14 days, then are removed permanently.
Children
Pebble Notepad is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
