These terms govern your use of the Pebble Notepad apps and the optional sync service. By using Pebble Notepad you agree to them.
The service
Pebble Notepad is a notes app. The optional sync service stores your notes so they appear across your devices. The service is currently provided free of charge; we may introduce paid tiers in the future, and will say so clearly before anything changes for existing users.
Your content
Your notes belong to you. By syncing, you grant us only the limited rights needed to store and transmit your notes between your devices. We claim no other rights over your content.
Acceptable use
Don't use the sync service to store unlawful content, to infringe others' rights, or to abuse the service (for example, automated bulk writes). We apply fair-use rate limits to keep the service healthy, and we may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, which permanently removes your synced data from our servers.
Availability and data
We aim to keep the sync service reliable but provide it "as is", without warranties. Your notes always live on your devices first — sync is a convenience layer — but you are responsible for keeping backups of data you cannot afford to lose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service (currently zero).
Termination
You may stop using Pebble Notepad at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practical.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
